A Place To Vent My Thoughts

Follow Me And I’ll Follow You

In Twitter on April 6, 2012 at 10:02 am

On my other Twitter site, I get countless people requesting a follow-back! It frustrates me to no end that I am always being asked to follow someone who I have no want to and doesn’t even follow me first! I refuse to follow people who do not interact with me and cannot keep an engaging conversation.

When I was first introduced to Twitter back in autumn 2010, I wanted to increase my following, albeit it, within the F1 world which my account is mostly dedicated too! But I did get sucked into wanting more followers. However, over time, I realised that I would rather have a small following with people I regularly communicate with and have an interest in then to have a large following whereby I did not speak to many, if any!

Stop Hatin’ On Bieber

Since Justin Bieber has entered the music scene, I come across at LEAST one dislike/hate comment about him. He entered the music scene in 2009 at the young age of 14 and from there, he became an international superstar. But what has he really done wrong? Answer: NOTHING!

I can almost guarantee that the majority of his ‘haters’ would quite happily switch roles with the Canadian if they were given the chance! Let’s face it, he has millions of dollars, a huge fan base, girls and even women, throwing themselves at him and he has talent whether you want to admit it or not. He travels the world and collaborates with some of the biggest names in the music industry. It’s the life that the majority of us dream about (give or take). Luckily for Bieber, he has been given that opportunity and he is making the most of it, just like we all would!

You’d Think They Would Learn

The Apprentice UK has started on its eighth series and its business as usual. The show still consists of arrogant, egotistical, conceited men and women. You would think that the prospect of a £250,000 investment in a business of the candidate’s choice and working alongside Lord Sugar would make the contestants up their game and ensure they do not make rookie mistakes.

Yet, no one seems to have learned anything from the previous contestants from the past seven series. It continues to surprise me how they enter this competition and fall at the first hurdle. So far this series, the contestants are disorganised, rude and act like they have no business acumen.
